This page admits scientific articles, short notes and revision of current themes.

ARTICLES

They should be sent in digital media (diskette, optical disk, CD-ROM).

The extension should not surpass 20 pages for the articles and 5 for the short notes, including in those limits the following: figures, tables, photos and bibliography (these could be included as footnotes). Some of these works will be published in the magazine Plasticulture if the editorial committee decides to do so.

Works should be sent to:

CEPLA
Coslada,18
28028 Madrid - ESPAÑA
Reference: Plasticulture Article

TEXT STRUCTURE

Texts should preferably follow this structure:

Heading: TITLE: clear, short and concise. Author or authors` NAME and the enterprise or institutions` complete address.

Abstract: : It should have enough information as to identify the contents and interest of the paper.

Abstracts should not exceed 200 words and will enclose 7 key words for its computing treatment.

Work paragraphs: In the case of scientific or technologic papers, paragraphs should be as follows:

1.- Introduction;
2.- Material and methods;
3.- Results;
4.- Discussion;
5.- Conclusions and acknowledgements;
6.- Bibliography (if not inlcuded as footnotes).

Brands and publicity are not allowed in the text.

For spreading articles or others, the structure should follow the above as near as possible.

Bibliography: The criteria for the presentation of references, both at the end of the article and as footnotes, is the following: Surname and initials of the author followed by a semicolon, year of publication preceeded by a comma and followed by a full stop, title of the paper followed by a full stop, name of the magazine or book`s title.
Example: Magnani G., Bonora M., 2000. Plásticos de invernderos con estabilizantes HALS mejorados. PLASTICULTURE, nº 119
.

If the quotation is not included as a footnote but inside the text, this should be written as follows: a) if the author is not mentioned in the text, quotation should be within brackets including the author`s surname, comma, year of publication (Martín, 1999); if there are two authors (Arteche, Castell, 1997); more than two (Granados et al., 1998); b) if the text includes a specific quotation of the author, then the surname should be written followed by the year of publication within brackets, i.e. Marco (1994), shows how...; more than two Díaz et al., (1995) made up some works about...

If references are given at the end of the paper, they should be in alphabetic order.

Figures and tables. Figures should be numbered independently in Arabic numbers. Figures will have their own number with an inscription.

Units, symbols and abbreviations: if units are not preceeded by a number, their name should be fully written, without using their symbol. Measurements should be those of the international system.

The use of abbreviations and symbols saves space, but the text is much more difficult to read if they appear in excess. To include a final list of the abbreviations used in the text is advisable.

o                                Drawings and images: in TIFF format, 300 ppp for programmes such as Adobe Photoshop.
